What I try to avoid:
- Avoid betting on 2 year old horses that have won on their first time out, they are usually the odds on shot(short price favorite).
- Avoid races where there's no form at all on any horses.
What to try and look for:
- I'll look for the following jockey and trainer combination Luke Morris(Jockey) and Tony Carroll(Trainer) and if the odds are between 11/2(5.5) and 12/1(12.0) I'll bet on it each way or for it to place.
- If it's a short race 7, 6 or 5 furlongs I'll check to see if the race course has a draw bias a draw bias is a favored stall starting position.
- Immediately before a race is due to start I'll watch to see if the odds shorten and where the money is going and maybe follow the market.
