I used to watch a French roulette player on twitch, he would bet only on the single number and play a progressive staking plan and would set a stop value, it would be a "Cold number". He looked at the previous numbers on a table. Some tables let you see up to the last 500-1000 history of spins. He would set the history value to 300-350 and look for a number that hadn't been out and bet on that number. He did pretty well, but was a little time consuming and was always switching tables.
I don't know if that would be something worth looking into. No worries if not.
